Q: How will you keep track of qualifying guest-nights?
A: The office reservation form will record new and returning guest’s “referring” source, and confirm that information again when a new guest checks-in, but it’s also a good idea to (a) keep track of your own referrals, and (b) share them with Howie, who’s tracking progress on pledges. At the end of the summer, we will confirm and match new guest visits with their recruiter (note: qualifying reservations must actually result in qualifying visits; cancellations don’t count).
Q: Are there safeguards against people playing loose with the rules, trying to maximize chances to win?
A: We’re trying to clearly spell out as many conditions as possible, inclusive of these FAQs, and we expect good-faith participation from current and future World Fellowship folks. New guests, for instance, visiting as a family group that would normally come under one reservation, should not attempt to split up their reservation for the sole purpose of qualifying for more contest tickets. And on the recruiting side, people outside an immediate family unit should enter the contest as separate recruiters, and not pool their efforts. Having said that, if you really don’t want to pledge, you may hand-off a recruit to someone else who is registered for the contest, so that someone will gain credit for your efforts (which are very much appreciated!).
Q: Who’s in charge of resolving any disputes about the administration and terms of these contests?
A: For any clarification, please check in with Howie first. World Fellowship Co-Directors, Andrea Walsh and Andy Davis’ decisions about any issues are final. For questions about tracking specific reservations and related record-keeping, you may also contact Anna Burbank at the WF office.
