2100 new guest-nights during the summer 2017 season!
And we’re off to a great start!
Nearly 900 new guest-nights pledged; nearly 300 new-guest-nights confirmed so far!
Campaign coordinator Howie Fain says:
“I want to reach 2100 new guest-nights during the summer 2017 season. Think about it. All we need to do is to fill three dining room tables each day of the 10-week season.
“I know 100 people could each recruit 21 new guest-nights. Think about it: Each family of four staying one week equals 28 guest nights, all in one shot. I’m sure there’s someone you know from work who is willing to check us out for three nights… Now more than ever! Or, the people you wish would return to WFC, at least once, after years away because of other pursuits – you can make that call to invite them to come this year. And the new organization you’ve joined – or helped form! – in order to resist and act, now more than ever… You can imagine that some in that organization would be interested.
“I would not be unhappy if our number of new and returning guest nights were to reach 1400: 75 people averaging 18.7 new guest-night recruits, or 100 people averaging 14. Spread over the season, 20 new guests per day will fill two of those middle tables.
“A low-ball goal, or borderline success number in my mind: 700 new guest-nights. That’s 50 people averaging 14 new guest-nights each. Or 75 people averaging 9.3. Or 100 people averaging just 7.
“Looking at that another way: 700 new guest-nights over a 70-day season means that we have recruited 10 new guests for each of those days, just enough to fill one of the middle dining room tables.
“I don’t want to suggest that you tell potential recruits to hurry up and make reservations because space will soon be limited, but perhaps you should tell potential recruits to hurry up and make reservations because space will soon be limited.
“Our community will come through, big time. I know it. The people who told me they’re just not into pledging – they’re welcome to join those who do by making extra efforts to bring in new recruits this year. World Fellowship stands together. It’s our history. It’s our commitment. Standing together in this simple way to help our bottom line and our future is one way we preserve World Fellowship’s role in our collective moral and political bottom lines.
“Let me know how you can contribute to our success in this campaign. Please pledge 25 new guest-nights, or whatever you believe works best for you.
