Participation and Registration and FAQ

New guest-night is defined as one new guest (or guest returning since 2011) who is paying WFC guest rates for one night during the summer 2017 season.

For WFC community members recruiting new guests:

  • To register, let Howie know how many “new guest-nights” you pledge to recruit: Email howie@worldfellowship.org
  • Suggested pledge: 25 new guest-nights. NOTE:  That is NOT 25 new guests! For example: a family of 4 staying 3 nights = 12 new guest-nights. See below for more information about making your pledge.

For New Guests:

  • To register for the drawing, make a reservation online, by phone, or mail for at least 2 nights
  • Identify the WFC community member who recruited you (to help us match your reservation to their pledge).
  • Stay at WFC for at least two new guest-nights this summer.
  • ENJOY YOUR VISIT!!! (not mandatory… just inevitable!)

FAQs

Q:  Do I have to pledge to recruit a total of 25 guest-nights?  Can’t I pledge fewer?
A:   Yes, you can pledge fewer than 25… What do you have to lose? There’s no penalty for falling short of your pledge. You will qualify for the drawing based on your actual results.

Q:  If I do not pledge, will the new guests I do recruit this year be eligible for the new guest contest?
A:  Yes, your new guests will still be entered in the contest drawing. But please consider making a pledge, even if it’s less than the suggested 25 new guest-nights, joining the campaign by making a pledge might just inspire you to reach out more than might have otherwise.

Q:   Does a new guest need to be paired with a specific recruiter?
A:    Nope!  Any new guest will be entered in the new guest contest drawing simply by properly checking out after a qualifying new guest visit.

Q:   Can I sponsor all or part of a new guest’s bill, and still have their stay count as qualifying guest-nights for me?
A:  YES!! And they will also be eligible for the new guest drawing. The source of payment doesn’t matter.
