DESCRIPTION:Due to funding concerns – this intensive will be postponed until Summer 2023.  We hope you’ll check back in with us! \n….. \nAre you on an antiracism journey and looking to deepen your exploration? \nThis interactive workshop series will provide participants with embodied experience to bring somatic awareness\, and share transformational practices to address racialized trauma to begin healing. \nAs a three-day multiracial group series with morning and afternoon sessions\, the workshop combines somatic awareness\, somatic dialogue\, and somatic witnessing in order to drop learners into their bodies. Together we’ll learn how our racialization manifests in our everyday reactions and how we can begin creating new responses to old embedded ideas about race. \nIf you are ready to submerge into your racialized identity and emerge with more aliveness and alignment as a co-conspirator\, ready to struggle together for racial justice\, please join us. \n*Room and Board Rates at WFC (Weekend Rates) including all meals and other activities apply\n$350 Additional Fee for the Workshop \nJayson Morris’ coaching is the conceptualization of 20 years of his personal and professional growth. He is a certified integral coach through New Ventures West and the International Coaching Federation. He has trained in the Aletheia emergent coaching methodology\, HeartMath\, and the Enneagram personality-type mapping & development through Chestnut Paes Enneagram Academy. He has also completed somatic leadership\, somatic bodywork\, and trauma & resilience workshops at the Strozzi Institute for embodied leadership and embodied anti-racist work with Education for Racial Equity and Racial Healing Allies. \nDenise Farai Williams is an embodied equity coach & facilitator\, antiracist cultural organizer\, educator\, creative activist and performing artist. Mycologist Larry Millman will introduce you to the fascinating world of fungi (i.e.\, mushrooms) in a two part program.  Part 1 will be a whiteboard presentation where you’ll learn about (among other things) the close connection between morels and lichens\, while part 2 will be a walk where you’ll experience the variety of fungal species on the premises of World Fellowship.  Please note that ecology\, not edibility\, will be the focus of both these events. \n

SUMMARY:Concert! David and Jacob Bernz
DESCRIPTION:Join us Labor Day Weekend for a folk concert featuring the father/son duo of David and Jacob Bernz! Outside of Schmauch\, followed with a campfire and smores! \nDavid and Jacob Bernz are a father-son team of folksingers and songwriters hailing from New York State’s Hudson Valley region. David has been performing for over forty years and has toured the United States\, Canada and Israel. David had a close relationship with the late Pete Seeger and earned two Grammy Awards for producing “Pete Seeger\, at 89” (Best Folk Album 2008) and “Pete Seeger and the Rivertown Kids – Tomorrow’s Children” (Best Children’s Album 2010). His own performance ensembles have included “Dave\, Perry\, Rande\, “Stone Soup” and “Work o’ the Weavers\,” (a tribute to America’s pioneering folk quartet)\, and he has released CDs with each. As of late\, David has been performing with his son Jacob who is one of the Valley’s most prolific songwriters with almost two-thousand original songs to his credit. Jacob was a founding member of Clearwater’s “Power of Song” activist singing group and he has shared the stage with luminaries such as Tom Chapin\, David Amram\, Jackson Browne and Janis Ian. Jacob has released several CD’s of original music as well as recording with his father David containing both updated folk chestnuts and original songs entitled “The Gotham River Tapes.” Together\, they sing\, harmonize and engage. \n
