DESCRIPTION:Longtime WFC Collaborator Kambale Musavuli shares more background and insights into the worsening crisis in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo\, as well as the 30 years of advocacy that led to the just announced U.S. sanctions on key Rwandan backers of the M23 militia that is taking over much of North and South Kivu. Kambale was formerly with DC-based Friends of the Congo and for several years ran the WFC-hosted Kimpa Vita Institute for activists and youth in the Congolese diaspora.
