SUMMARY:An Evening of Storytelling with Andy Davis
DESCRIPTION:Storyteller Andy Davis is pausing at home and visiting WFC in the middle of his third summer of bicycle storytelling\, pedaling 900 miles to perform in 20 libraries\, cultural centers\, house concerts\, and summer camps from Provincetown to Burlington. In his panniers he carries a whimsical\, farraginous blend of tales including the personal\, political\, and folkloric. \nAndy Davis got his start as a storyteller telling comic tales by candlelight in Mexican refugee camps 30 years ago. He has since broadened and refined his craft and has entertained audiences from Bamako to Seattle with his signature blend of infectious humor\, sly wisdom\, and a cheerfully subversive spirit. For 21 years he and his wife Andrea Walsh co-directed World Fellowship. They live in a little home-made house in nearby Tamworth. \nFind out more about his work at www.andydavisstoryteller.com. \n
