On February 6, 2025, Sparky Von Plinsky launched his Substack titled “Boycott Billionaires,” leading with the following: “My personal rebellion against the billionaire class is at least a couple of decades old. Though to be honest I rebelled out of love of the planet not because I thought the United States was in danger of becoming an oligarchy. Yet here we are.” Since, he has systematically laid out ways we can each shave away at our dependence on billionaires and start investing dollar by dollar in alternative economic systems.
