Our Summer 2025 program is now ended, but we continue to organize in-person and virtual events for our local and extended community, and to promote other local events of interest. We welcome program offers and ideas for both the off-season and looking ahead to Summer 2026: email programs@worldfellowship.org!

Defending Democracy in NH (Olivia Zink & Ben Radcliffe, Open Democracy)
30 June @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Throughout this last legislative session, the NH State legislature has been considering an onslaught of new bills that affect electoral fairness and access to the ballot box — a state-level trend that is not unique to NH. Open Democracy is at the forefront of educating the public on new legislation and organizing push back on the worst attacks on democracy in NH.
The Coalition for Open Democracy was founded in 1997 by a group of campaign finance reform activists, including the legendary Doris “Granny D” Haddock. Open Democracy works for political equality for all in New Hampshire and the United States, to stop the influence of wealthy interests in politics, ensure fair redistricting, and protect the freedom to vote. Open Democracy envisions a government accountable to the people, free from the corruption of big money politics
Olivia Zink has been working as a community organizer in New Hampshire since 2000. Before becoming Open Democracy’s Executive Director, she served as the Grassroots Engagement Coordinator for the Governing Under the Influence Project in Concord, a project of the American Friends Service Committee. Ben Radcliffe is an Open Democracy intern focused on compliance with campaign finance laws in state-level elections.
