Our Summer 2025 program is now ended, but we continue to organize in-person and virtual events for our local and extended community, and to promote other local events of interest. We welcome program offers and ideas for both the off-season and looking ahead to Summer 2026: email programs@worldfellowship.org!

Leftover Drawing and Paper Lab (Rachael Cole)
8 July @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Do you have stacks of old drawings, works on paper, or scrap paper lying around? Want to give a second life to artwork that seemed “unsuccessful” the first time? put all those junk envelopes and colored scraps of paper to use. Maybe your kids have old drawings they are ready to let go of. Those can all become beautiful new objects.
We will choose items to create from our discards, like cut shapes, collages, envelopes, note cards, beads, jewelry, boxes, and repurposed plastic containers.
This is a hands-on experimentation and collaboration for our community.
There will be a variety of tools on hand, including paper bead makers, box templates, and clean, used containers. If there is interest, we can start a project that continues to build as the summer continues.
Rachael Cole is a third generation WFC community member, a visual artist and a children’s book author and illustrator.
