Join us each Wednesday, October 8-29, 5:30-7:30pm, starting off at the Pope Memorial Library in North Conway for an October film screening series focused on deepening our understanding of the struggle for Palestinian freedom and an end to the mass atrocities ongoing in Gaza. Running in parallel, we encourage folks joining the film series/teach-in to also follow the “Short Course on Palestine” with Rashid Khalidi, with virtual sessions every Tuesday, Sept 30 to October 28, 6:30-8:30pm.

Starting in October, we will be screening and discussing one film weekly in both Tamworth and North Conway. Films will include No Other Land, Israelism, and The Encampments. At the end of the series, we will be gathering across towns to discuss local strategies that can make a difference at this critical moment. Organized by the Mount Washington Valley Resistance and the World Fellowship Center.

North Conway screenings will be held Wednesday, October 8-29, 5:30-7:30pm, starting at Pope Memorial Library (through October 15 — location TBD for October 22 and 29). Tamworth screenings will be held each Thursday, October 9-30, 6-8pm, at the Cook Memorial Library. On-site childcare available.
