This illuminating discussion with reframe the issue of FGM/C as a domestic human rights issue, discuss advocacy and awareness tools, and provide insight on liberty after laceration for the half a million women/girls impacted by FGM/C in the United States. Our presenter is Natasha R. Johnson, JD/RYT, a Brooklyn-based attorney, academic, activist, artist, yoga teacher and thought-leader on gender based violence domestically and internationally.
