Our Summer 2025 program is now ended, but we continue to organize in-person and virtual events for our local and extended community, and to promote other local events of interest. We welcome program offers and ideas for both the off-season and looking ahead to Summer 2026: email programs@worldfellowship.org!

Why I Don’t Have a Cellphone (Amy Antonucci, NH Peace Action) *VIRTUAL PROGRAM*
6 March @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Join a community conversation with NH Peace Action Board Chair and long-time activist Amy Antonucci exploring links between our personal choices and our broader activism. Amy came to activism through the UNH women’s studies program where she learned both that “the personal is political” and that real change comes when we work together and support each other. It’s been her goal to do both since then – walk her talk with her own individual choices while being involved in larger movements making systems change for us all. This conversation follows the March 1, 2025 program with Kambale Musavuli where we dove deep into worsening crisis in Eastern DRC and the link between conflicts like this one and rare earth minerals that are often used in cellphones (and Teslas) — a topic Amy wrote an article about several decades ago, inspiring a personal choice that she has carried forward to today. It also links to the #EconomicBlackout and other ongoing boycotts.
