Making Climate Action a Daily Practice (Eric Fine, YPCCC) *VIRTUAL PROGRAM*
10 June @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Eric Fine, project manager of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communications (YPCCC), leads an evening workshop on how we can each and all multiply climate action in our lives and inspire others. 64% of US adults are worried about climate change, but many of them aren’t sure what to do about it. How can you, your friends, family, and community take more action? Yale Climate Connections has created a Climate Solutions Hub to help people find the actions that work best in their lives and bring as many others along as possible. Join Eric for a guided exploration of climate solutions and to make a personal action plan.
Eric Fine, who grew up coming to WFC and is now an anchoring member of our Climate Action Working Group, just won the Kroon Cup at Yale University honoring his lived commitment to climate action: “Eric Fine’s dedication to sustainability extends far beyond his job description. He leads by example: biking to work in all weather, personally maintaining the campus bike repair station he helped install, pushing for carbon-free retirement investment options, and is working towards net-zero at home.”
