Learning about World Fellowship’s Land

Three years ago, World Fellowship granted three separate conservation easements to the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust in order to permanently protect nearly 400 acres of the land and shorefront on Whitton Pond. Part of this process included an assessment of our land to see what was there. Learn about what they identified in their survey – streams, marshes, peatlands, swamps, vernal pools, trees and rich forest soil, and nesting sites for the Common Loon, who have returned to Whitton Pond for over 100 years.
